Robert is Of Counsel to the firm and has over 30 years practicing Intellectual Property Law. He has drafted and prosecuted patents in the technical fields of electrical systems, circuits, devices, optics, semiconductors, materials and semiconductor manufacturing processes. Prior to practicing patent law he was an electrical engineer designing computer circuits and semiconductor memories. He has significant experience in both fields.
Robert’s experience includes reviewing numerous joint study, joint development and software licensing agreements. He has counseled major corporations on Government Rights to Intellectual Property developed under U.S. Government Contracts and on compliance with government contract invention reporting.
Robert has been an in-house attorney for three major corporations and has also worked in private practice.
Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in Science Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and is a registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO. Robert is not admitted in CT.
